How do I apply for a position at the IILM?

Please visit our website (https://www.iilm.com) under the Careers tab to check for vacant position announcements. Submissions for vacant or prospective positions should be emailed to careers@iilm.com. All job offers on our website are still open. Once a position is filled, it will no longer be displayed.

How do I know if my application has been received?

You will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk and spam folders.

I cannot find a suitable vacancy at the moment, can I still send in resume?

Certainly, you can send us your CV and a cover letter setting out information on the role you are interested in. Your details will be added to our database and we will contact you regarding suitable future vacancies.

I have applied for a role but I have not heard anything. What do I do?

Applications are reviewed by HR and Hiring Manager regularly, usually within a week of submission.

We try to contact each applicant personally with a response; however, this may take some time due to the large number of responses we receive. For certain vacancies, only shortlisted candidates will be notified on next steps.

If you have any questions about the status of your application, kindly contact our HR unit.

What is the typical selection process?

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for preliminary interviews and may be invited to the IILM’s headquarters for formal interviews. Upon successful formal interviews, final shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a psychometric test prior to a final decision being made.

How is the IILM conducting interviews during the pandemic?

The IILM will assess each interview on a case by case basis as to whether it is conducted face to face or virtually online. The HR officer will fill you in on all the details ahead of any interviews.

Can I withdraw my application?

Yes, you can withdraw your application at any time. Please send us an e-mail to careers@iilm.com

I currently live abroad and I am not a citizen of Malaysia. Can I apply?

Yes, you can. The IILM is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all members of the community.

I applied for your company in the past. Can I reapply?

Yes, you can. Kindly inform the HR department of the previous position that you have applied for.

Would there be any form that I need to fill up, and any documentation that I should submit to HR?

Once you have successfully accepted the offer of employment, you are expected to fill up information of your personal details and submit required documentation as stated in your offer letter. If information provided turns out to be false, your successful application may be nullified.

What happens to my personal information?

Your personal data will be used exclusively for recruitment purposes. We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Malaysia.

Will my application be kept confidential?

Yes, of course. Please inform us if we are only allowed to call you at certain times of the day.

What if I am not happy with any element of the recruitment process?
